Welcome to Helping You Homeschool!

I’m so glad you found me!

My name is Robin and I have a question for you.

Do you believe that homeschooling is an extension of parenting?

I do.

Since we’ve parented our child since birth and helped them learn to talk and to walk, we can successfully educate our child at home.

Even though I hadn’t planned a homeschooling journey, I homeschooled our two children from kindergarten through high school.

Despite the self-doubt, the mistakes I’ve made, and all the things we didn’t get done, I consider our homeschooling a journey a success.

What makes a homeschooling journey successful?

When our first child graduated from high school in 2015, I started helping other homeschool moms in our community.

I’ve been mentoring homeschool moms for the past three years. It is from the suggestion of other these moms that I start a blog. When I our son graduated from high school in 2017, I was ready to share what I’ve learned on this homeschooling journey. I hesitated because I needed proof that I hadn’t failed our children by educating them at home.

This website is dedicated to homeschool parents who want the best for their children and are willing to put in the time and energy to raise independent adults and life-long learners. This website was created to help parents successfully educate their children at home.

Helping You Homeschool is a work in progress as I attempt to share what I learned on this fifteen-year journey.

It is my hope that by sharing the mistakes, the lessons I’ve learned, and the successes I’ve seen, I’ll help you as you educate your children at home. With dedication, persistence, and the right resources, YOU too can homeschool successfully.

Take your time and look around this website. This bibliophile blogger has created a table of contents to make it easier for you.
